Counting down the days #ROW80

Well, I’m certainly counting down the days! To so many things. I’ve received kind of a scheduling of releases for 2015, and I have to say, I’m going to be one busy chicklet. But I’m crazy excited about it, too. Every year I have a goal of publishing 2-3 novels, and I’m certainly hitting that goal and more next year.

Here’s just a quick list of what I know for sure is happening…

Feb 2015 – Love is a Mess anthology w/my short Quarter Life: Energy Feed releases
May 2015 – Memoir in the Making releases
June 2015 – Fallen from Grace releases
Oct 2015 – Quarter Life: Unbound releases

There are potentially 3 more anthologies and a novel to be released in 2015 right now too, so yes, crazy, I know.

Other than that, my biggest struggle right now is time and finding time to do everything and be everything I need to be in my life. It’s a countdown in days. One to the new year, one to the end of ROW80, one to Christmas, one to my mother’s arrival, an one to my lovely significant other getting home from work. A countdown with deadlines and so much work to do.

Anyway…to my update!

1. Write 1667 words a day

somewhat keeping up with this. Wrote a bit on my co-written piece, a bit on Grace, and a about 5k words on a short story for submission. So I am writing, just not sure how much each day, but writing is the point.

2. keep up with all blog posts ROW80, WIPpet, Open When and add in 1 extra post a week

Did this for the most part. Missed Open When again. I really need to start that up next week.

3. Edit at least one chapter a week on something.

Definitely did this many times over to the point where I’m not counting.

4. crochet one round of border a week

I DID THIS! I crocheted 3 this week. That means I have 2 left and the project is done. w00t!

#ROW80 update and progress on goals

This has been a crazy hard month for us, started really end of January, and it's looking to continue to be another rough month. My spouse was fired, we're switching kids' daycare because of abuse issues, I've been sick with some cold, stomach bug through the house,...

Open when you get fired… #loveletters #openwhen

Oh love, My heart breaks for you. This isn't what you wanted or what I wanted. And it is completely out of our hands. Let me hold you, love. Let me hold you while you cry, while you curse, while you run worries around your head so much that you don't know where to...

Sounds like you have been busy! My goodness! I think that it is ok if you take a break for the next few weeks. Enjoy family and friends and the whole Christmas season. Next year is going to busy and you will need to be well-rested for it.

‘Tis the season to be harried, fa la la la la, la la la la! All kinds of countdowns of days… You did really well. Just remember, you have to show us the crochet project when you’re finished.

Enjoy your mom’s visit, and, to all those releases, I can say only, “WOWZA!” – and I’m excited to get to hang out with Grace some more.

Yeah I aim for 2-3 releases a year. I think I overshot this year. ooops! I might hate myself come about May and June with it’s all just shoved together. I may have another one in August too, assuming I write a piece for it. just…I’m insane. I’ll openly and freely admit that. =P

I am too! She and I need a few date nights together to get reacquainted, but I don’t think it’ll take too long.

          Deep breaths and vodka!

I’ll substitute coffee for the vodka, but same basic principle. =)
