But she can’t.After losing her mother, Melia knew her life would never be the same, she just didn’t expect it to be so drastically different. Her mother’s final wish was something that not only changed her life but also the way she lives it. And it put her right in front of a man that angers her as much as he excites her.
Patrick ‘Wrench’ Ryan is president of the Tormented Souls Motorcycle Club. He’s strong, tough, and his word is law, but his sister knows how to get the upper hand with him. So, when she showed up with Melia and told him she’s staying in the club house, it didn’t take much to get him to relent. He tried to play nice, but Melia gets under his skin.
Things change when the club’s biggest foe escalates their rivalry in an attempt to bring the Tormented Souls President to his knees. It’s up to Patrick to protect his sister and the things most important to her. Will he be able to keep everyone safe? Will Melia get caught in the crossfire? Or will it all be for nothing in the end?

Excerpt #1
“What?” I growled, grabbing the back of the woman’s head when she started to pull away. Making my message clear; she wasn’t done just because I was on the phone, but to be sure, I said, “I didn’t say to fucking stop.”
“Seriously. At least stop fucking when you answer the phone.” Ryan’s disgusted voice floated over the line. I rolled my eyes even though she couldn’t see me.
“What, did you finally realize I was looking for you?” I rested my head against the back of the couch. The woman had no idea what the fuck she was doing with my cock. I would not be getting off unless she changed what she was doing. From the feel of it, it was possible she’d never sucked cock before. Trying to listen to Ryan but also get some pleasure out of the whore, I fisted my hand in her hair and attempted to show her a rhythm that felt better than what she was doing.
“Yes, I did. Sorry, Master. I didn’t realize I needed to report in immediately,” Ryan sarcastically replied. “I just got time to return your call. We’re pregnant and it’s twins. I hope they are both girls so they can drive their uncle even more crazy than he already is.”
It was easy to tell she was trying not to sound as happy and excited as she truly was. Always hiding behind her tough exterior. “Well, congrats on the brats. When am I going to meet this woman who is carrying the babes?”
“Never, if I have anything to say about it,” Ryan answered immediately.
Interview with Rachael Orman
What is one thing not in your bio, something totally random that only a few people know?
That I am 5’9”! Tallest girl in my family! Thanks to my dad!
What made you decide to write? If it even was a decision. And what kept you at it?
The characters running around my head started to keep me up at night and I figured I’d sit down and just start writing, which had been a passion of mine when I was in high school, but I stopped doing it after my family told me that it was a total waste of my time and I shouldn’t bother. I keep writing now because I’ve found it to be a great way to get my mind off other things in life and a great way to keep my mind from getting stale.
Why is it that you are an independent author? What prompted the decision to yourself, and how has that experience been?
I enjoy the freedom of writing when I want and publishing went I want. It’s been a rough road. A lot more work goes into getting a book into new readers hands and getting people to take a chance on you the first time than most people realize. All in all, I’ve enjoyed it, I enjoy writing enough to try to find people that enjoy the way I write.
Would you mind sharing some of your ups and some of your downs about writing and about publishing? Any advice to new and upcoming authors?
Be prepared to work. A lot of bloggers are helpful and don’t mind helping get your work out there, but you have to spend the time finding them and getting them to share. Be prepared for bad reviews. Every single author EVER has gotten bad reviews. You just can’t please everyone. Edit, edit and edit. There is nothing like a great plotline and characters being ruined by bad editing.

Excerpt #2
“FUCK!” I yelled, crawling over to my camera. I grabbed it and turned to glare at the idiot who had hit me. “Watch where the fuck you’re going!”
I stood, letting my eyes trail up from a pair of dress shoes to a pair of finely tailored pants, up to a suit jacket, only to end at a breath taking face with brilliant blue eyes. Even with a face and eyes like that I would’ve had more choice words to say to him, but there were very large, very scary looking men on either side of him. An impatient look crossed his face as he slipped his phone back into his pants pocket.
“Me? You’re the idiot kneeling in the middle of a busy sidewalk,” suit man said in a deep, gravelly voice.
“Whatever, asshole.” I rolled my eyes, throwing my camera in my bag, quickly zipping it up. “Don’t worry about if I’m okay or if you broke my very expensive camera. Self-centered dick.”
Her Ride (Her #1)
Being happy. It sounds so simple. Yet, it seems that it’s always just out of reach for Shannon Ryan.
After serving overseas for seven years as a female United States Marine, Ryan is finally getting out the military. But coming home to live with her biker brother and his motorcycle club is more difficult than she thought it would be. Much has changed in the years that she has been gone, including Ellis, her brother’s best friend and childhood crush.
Ellis ‘Dirty’ Crane is the second in command for Tormented Souls Motorcycle Club. The only thing he lives for is the club, that is until Ryan comes home, no longer the wild little girl that followed him around. The two things standing in his way of getting what he wants are Patrick, Ryan’s brother and leader of the club, and Jeremiah, Ryan’s boyfriend.
Can Ellis break through Ryan’s walls? Burn them and Jeremiah down? Prove to her brother that he’s the right man for her? Or is Ryan hiding more than she’s letting on?

About the Author
Stay at home mother of two with a passion for reading almost as much as writing. She is often found curled up with her Kindle reading while her children cuddle up on either side ‘reading’ books of their own. Married for almost ten years to the most wonderful husband and father, she couldn’t ask for more out of life. Except maybe to live somewhere not quite as hot as the desert she currently lives in.
